At GRP Live, our journey began in 2015 with a vision to transform events into captivating experiences through top-notch lighting, sound, and video solutions. What started as a humble venture operating from a house and a modest 150 sqft self-storage unit soon evolved into a thriving enterprise that stands proud today.
The strength of GRP Live comes from the people behind it. Our team combines technical expertise, real-world event experience and a genuine commitment to getting things right first time.
We firmly believe that investing in our people is paramount to delivering top-notch services. That’s why we prioritise industry-relevant training and foster an environment that encourages continuous professional growth.
Despite our growth, we’ve maintained a family-like ethos, fostering enduring relationships with our clients. Some of our clients have been with us since our inception in 2015, a testament to the trust they place in our services and our unwavering commitment to their satisfaction.
Our growth has been shaped by a simple principle: build the right foundations and everything else follows. Since 2015, GRP Live has developed steadily from its South Wales roots, expanding our facilities, equipment and team in step with the needs of the projects we support. Based just 20 minutes from the M4 motorway network, we’re well positioned to support projects locally and across the UK while maintaining the high standards we’re known for.
Today, GRP Live operates with the flexibility, infrastructure and experience needed to deliver consistently across a wide range of productions. Whether supporting a single element or managing full technical delivery, we focus on providing dependable service, clear communication and the confidence that comes from a well-resourced, forward-thinking team. By continuing to strengthen our capabilities and ways of working, we ensure we remain ready to support events now and into the future.
Beyond our commitment to exceptional service, we take our environmental impact seriously and aim to make practical improvements wherever we can. At our warehouse, we operate with on-site solar generation supported by battery storage, helping reduce reliance on grid energy and lowering our overall footprint. Across our transport operations, around half of our fleet is now fully electric, and we continue to improve route planning and logistics to minimise unnecessary mileage.
We prioritise responsible waste management, recycling materials both at our premises and on-site wherever possible. Internally, we minimise paper usage by using digital delivery notes, electronic documentation and digital plans wherever practical. We also support tree planting initiatives in the UK through Ecologi as part of our wider effort to offset impact where reductions aren’t yet possible. While we know there is always more to do, we remain focused on making steady, realistic changes that reduce impact while maintaining the reliability our clients depend on.
At GRP Live, pride in our work is non-negotiable. We focus on delivering projects with care, precision and proper attention to detail, never settling for a “that’ll do” approach. Whether supporting a single element or managing full technical delivery, our aim is always the same: to provide dependable service and results clients can trust.
As we continue to grow, we remain committed to improving how we work, strengthening our capabilities and supporting events with the same practical, reliable approach that has shaped GRP Live from the start.
